Who doesn’t love an easy meal!!

I know I do!! I think having a recipe stash of meals that can go from freezer to table is essential. It is smart to have things that you can take out and heat and because they are home-made you know that it is good for your family! Spaghetti sauce stored in Ziploc bags is a great quick dinner. I am lucky that I have a husband who loves all the quick meals I have come up with.  Last night I made an old favorite. Pizza Pasta. Super simple, and ready in about 30 minutes. Also since you can put in whatever pizza toppings you like, the flavor is totally up to you!! We use pepperoni.  I am excited to share this one with y’all!!

Pizza Pasta

You will need:

  • Any pasta that you like. (1 pound package. We use bow tie!)
  • 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package Hormel Pepperoni (or your favorite pizza topping)
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Pre-heat oven to 375. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain thoroughly. Add pasta sauce, butter, and pepperoni (or your favorite topping!) and stir thoroughly to combine. Pour into baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serve and enjoy!!

I have been making this for a while, and it is super easy to prep in the afternoon. I just make it and get it in the dish(hold off on the cheese until right before baking though) while little man is napping, then I can put it in the oven right before John gets home!! Super simple, and it’s ready when he walks in the door!! This also can be made and frozen. It will take a little longer to bake, but it’s better for you than some lasagna pumped out in a factory!!
